Cobourg Fishing Safaris (operated by Venture North) are proud to have obtained the only permit to provide boating tours on the Cobourg Marine Park for Smith Point campground guests. There is no better way to explore this pristine environment than on a small-group tour with a guide who lives and breathes the Peninsula!
Our family owned business prides itself on providing quality, value for money experiences. We operate full day boat tours (maximum 6 passengers), in our new custom-built 7m vessel. Tour options include: exploring the Victoria Settlement ruins, fishing, mud crabbing, bird watching, marine spotting & more.
All boat trips depart Black Point boat ramp (approx. 5km from your campground) @ 8am.
Full day Explorer tour (*most popular)
Departs: Black Point boat ramp at 8am returning at around 5pm. Activities can include Victoria Settlement tour, fishing, marine life spotting, beach combing, bird watching and more. Includes: All activities, equipment and refreshments (food not included)
Per Adult: $5000 per person
Full day reef fishing tour
Departs: Black Point boat ramp at 8am, returning at around 5pm. Target species: Golden snapper, tricky snapper, jewfish, coral trout, emperor, mackerel, cod, shark etc. Includes: All fishing equipment*, bait and refreshments (food not included)
