A bird watching tour of the Top End

Many birdwatchers choose to join one of our tours from Darwin due to the large variety of environments we travel through = the opportunity to see a large variety of bird species. Our most popular tour for birders is the 5 Day Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Cobourg Peninsula Tour

The tour takes guests through the waterfalls, wetlands and monsoon forests of Kakadu; home to a huge array of bird species. We then travel into Arnhem Land through rocky escapements and the stone country which a host of different species call home . Finally the tour travels up to the coast of northern Arnhem Land to the Cobourg Peninsula, an area with a great variety of coastal and migratory birds. Our guides are very passionate about birds and go out of their way to finds different species and share their knowledge.

Although the tour is not a dedicated birdwatching tour one recent keen birdwatcher spotted 88 species over the 5 days
