The Cobourg Peninsula is the first Ramsar Wetland, home to the world's largest herd of wild banteng and the historic remnants of the Victoria Settlement and Macassan traders. Also known for its diverse environments, the park boasts the NT's largest Marine Park, home to over 250 species of fish and six of the seven species of marine turtles.

Visitor numbers to the Cobourg Peninsula are heavily regulated, and permits are required to access the National Park. This ensures the region's natural beauty is preserved, and the low numbers mean you'll never be part of a crowd.

A Rustic Glamping Experience 

Cobourg Coastal Camp boasts eight permanent canvas safari tents, which provide comfortable accommodation. The tents are strategically arranged along the cliff top overlooking the water. Each tent is twin-share.

A large undercover, open-air dining area provides ample seating and is where an experienced chef prepares the meals. Gourmet offerings include local seasonal produce, freshly caught local seafood, and campfire roasts.
