With years of local knowledge and touring experience Venture North offer a range of specialty tours which are tailor-made for each specific enquiry. We work closely with you to design the perfect tour based on your field of interest, e.g. bird watching, Indigenous culture, geology, botany, photography, flora, fauna, bush walking, fishing, team building etc. 

We can explore most regions of the Top End (northern NT) and we also travel into northern Western Australia. In the NT our most popular options are our Kakadu tours and Arnhem Land safaris while in WA our Kimberley tours are no. 1.

Nature Based Tours 

A nature lover’s paradise... the Territory and Kimberley boasts an array of nature based touring possibilities. Northern Australia is home to soooo many different eco-systems, diverse bird and wildlife populations, a huge variety of spectacular landscapes and a number of world class National Parks. 

Cultural Tours

Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory is one of the most culturally rich parts of Australia. On all cultural tours Venture North employs local Aboriginal people to guide us through their homelands (‘on country’), offering a more informative and rewarding experience.

Bird Watching Tours 

The Kimberley, Kakadu, Arnhem Land and the Cobourg Peninsula boast an array of different eco-systems and spectacular landscapes, supporting an incredibly diverse populations of bird species. Expect to see between 25 + species per day.

Educational Tours 

Venture North provides a variety of educational tours for student groups from primary school right through to university. Each tour is specifically designed to match the group’s curriculum and is guided by a highly knowledgeable guide.

NT Fishing Charters

The Cobourg Peninsula is a remote destination with world class fishing. We offer a range of fishing packages based out of Cobourg Coastal Camp. Our fishing charters operate from May through October but it's recommended visiting during the warmer months (i.e. May, September and October) if you want to target barra as this is when they are most active.

Photography Tours

The Northern Territory and Kimberley are home to some of the most spectacular photographic locations in Australia. On a Venture North expedition you can get off the tourist trail and photograph some truly stunning locations without the crowds. Guest professional photographers are available on request.

Corporate Tours

We are able to host a variety of corporate activities such as team building or incentive based tours. As all experiences are tailor-made you can combine any kind of nature based or adventure activity your company desires.
