The Northern Territory Tourism Brolga Awards are the official tourism awards program for the Northern Territory. The 'Brolga Awards' recognise and encourage tourism businesses that strive for excellence in every area of operation. Winning a Brolga Award is the industry’s highest accolade and the recipients represent the best products and services in the Northern Territory.
Venture North was elated to win the 'Cultural Tourism' Award at the Northern Territory's 2021 Brolga Awards hosted on the 13th November 2021. This is the 10th time Venture North Safaris have been bestowed with this prestigious award. They now can represent the NT at the Australian Tourism Awards on the Sunshine Coast in March 2022.

The Cultural Award specifically recognises 'tourism operations that foster a greater understanding and appreciation of authentic culture, history, heritage and/or the arts'. Due to Venture North's strong relationships with the local Indigenous people, they can offer our guests some of the most authentic cultural experiences in the country. In partnership with local Aboriginal guides, Venture North take guests to places that are not open to the general public and offer an array of immersive one-on-one cultural activities. They also operate a remote tourist camp within the Aboriginal lands of Arnhem Land.
